Computational techniques for coupled electro-magneto-mechanics

I carry out research on developing computational techniques for coupled electro-magneto-mechanical problems. The current work focuses on viscoelastic, composite, and ferroelectric materials at the geometrically linearized strain case, with the aim of characterizing material properties such as the effective stiffness and loss tangent.

Implicit gradient plasticity

This research implements the micromorphic approach by Forest for gradient plasticity problems in geomechanics.
